A key pillar to ensuring that people are responsible for our public lands is through building an appreciation for the outdoors.

I have organized fun hikes and kayaking events for the Ohlone Environmental Club so that my peers build an appreciation for our public lands and oceans, and are more committed to preserving them.

As part of my Alsion High School Environmental Committee, I’ve organized hikes in Death Valley National Park and part of the Pacific Crest Trail in Oregon.
